The vineyard of La Geria, on the island of Lanzarote, Canary Islands. La Geria is the wine region of Lanzarote where thousands of small semi-circular walls (called zocos) are spread over the volcanic soil (basalt slag), each one sheltering a single vine stock from the constant wind and collecting the condensation of the night fog. This creates a very original and characteristic landscape of this arid island.
