Based in Lyon, Antoine Boureau has been a documentary photographer since 2007, after training in cinema and audiovisual media. His photographic practice is deeply rooted in human and social issues, with a particular focus on childhood, social inequalities, and environmental challenges. His work is distinguished by an immersive and collaborative approach, seeking to forge authentic connections with the people he photographs.
He is the author of the book Libre (2022), which explores the theme of free play among children around the world, the result of an eight-month journey through Central America, Japan, Germany, Russia, and other countries.
